Dick Strayer is a professional advisor or special limited partner to six venture capital firms, including OVP Venture Partners. In this role, he provides pre-deal due diligence and post-funding consultation to startup teams. He specializes in guiding management teams through the challenging personnel issues that can often inhibit success.

Dick has over 25 years of organizational consulting experience in over 300 high technology companies. His professional expertise lies in organizational and executive development, particularly founder transitions, top-management team building, and CEO coaching.

Dick received his MA & Ph.D in Psychology from Claremont Graduate School. His Post-Doctorate, with a focus on clinical and organizational behavior, was done at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute. He received his MBA from Boston University.
