Rosetta Impharmatics was a digital biology company formed to develop technologies to improve drug discovery. OVP was there from day one, helping found the company out of the Hutchinson Cancer Center. Playing a central role in the formation of this company is a particular point of pride for OVP and a touch point in OVP's history in the space. Ultimately we took the company public and supported its acquisition by Merck in 2001.
