Alliance of Angels

The Alliance of Angels is a membership organization of individual accredited angel investors and investment corporations.  The goal of the Alliance of Angels is to bring together high-growth early-stage entrepreneurs and sophisticated angel investors. For companies seeking funding, the Alliance of Angels provides valuable coaching as well as exposure to an otherwise difficult-to-reach and powerful network of experienced investors.

Evergreen Venture Capital Association (NVCA)

The Evergreen Venture Capital Association (EVCA) believes in investing in people as much as in businesses. The EVCA is a partnership of Washington State venture capital firms working closely together to nurture a vibrant and healthy venture capital community in the region. We strive to provide insight and direction to local entrepreneurs who will create the next generation of great companies. At the same time, the EVCA also contributes time, money and energy to local organizations to help find, educate and encourage young entrepreunerial minds.

 Institute for Systems Biology (ISB)

Building a new kind of research institute — one that can tackle the multi-disciplinary challenges of systems biology – requires a strategy that itself integrates many sciences including biology, chemistry, physics, computation, mathematics and medicine. Because the field of systems biology requires the seamless integration of these disciplines, ISB has developed a philosophy, an environment, and an administrative structure that transcends traditional organizational and disciplinary barriers. Scientists collaborate across their specialties to leverage knowledge and expertise with others at the Institute and in academia and industry.

Northwest Entreprenuers Network (NWEN)

The Northwest Entrepreneur Network, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to helping entrepreneurs succeed. Our activities and programs are focused on building the entrepreneurial and venture community in the Northwest and enabling entrepreneurs to access resources and funding to accelerate their business growth.

Technology Alliance

The Technology Alliance is a statewide organization of leaders from our state's diverse high-tech businesses, research institutions, and the community dedicated to Washington's economic success. We believe this success is dependent upon three drivers: Excellent education systems; Strong research capacity; and, A robust entrepreneurial environment.  Through programs, events, research studies, and policy activities, the TA works to mobilize support for these drivers in order to grow and sustain a vibrant technology-based economy benefiting all of Washington's citizens.

TechNet focuses on politics and policy by bringing its members together with our nation's policy makers to sustain and advance America's global leadership in innovation.

TiE

The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), was founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley by a group of successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and senior professionals with roots in the Indus region. There are currently 12,000 members in 45 chapters across 10 countries. TiE’s mission is to foster entrepreneurship globally through mentoring, networking, and education. Dedicated to the virtuous cycle of wealth creation and giving back to the community, TiE’s focus is on generating and nurturing our next generation of entrepreneurs.

Besides its flagship event, TiECon--the largest professional conference for entrepreneurs, TiE now has a wide range of programs including Special Interest Groups (SIGs), TiE Institute, Deal Flow Meetings, TiE Young Entrepreneurs, and, most recently, TiE Women’s Forum and CEO Forum.

National Venture Capital Association

The National Venture Capital Association (NVCA) is a trade association that represents the U.S. venture capital industry. It is a member-based organization, which consists of venture capital firms that manage pools of risk equity capital designated to be invested in high growth companies.  NVCA's mission is to foster greater understanding of the importance of venture capital to the U.S. economy, and support entrepreneurial activity and innovation.  The NVCA represents the public policy interests of the venture capital community, strives to maintain high professional standards, provides reliable industry data, sponsors professional development, and facilitates interaction among its members.
